Finances & roads

Pay your dues

Annual dues keep Gallina Canyon Road graded, graveled and plowed. Dues are $400 per resident lot and $200 per land-only lot. Pay online below. Paying from your bank account saves GCNA the most in fees.

Pay in full

$400 or $200, one payment. The simplest option, and it costs the least. Paying by card? You can choose to add the card processing fee.

Or pay monthly

Spread dues over 4 or 8 months. Plans add a small amount to cover processing fees: $16 total for residents, $8 for land-only lots.

Pay by bank account (preferred)

Choose “US bank account” on the form. Bank payments cost GCNA significantly less in processing fees than cards, so more of your dues go to the road. You’ll get a confirmation email right away, and your receipt once the payment clears (a few business days).

Choose your dues and how to pay

Which dues apply to me?

Resident lot ($400): a lot with a residence on it, whether you live there year-round, part of the year, or rent it out.

Land-only lot ($200): vacant land with no residence.

The treasurer checks payments against the lot list and will contact you if the dues type doesn’t match your lot.

Paying monthly?

Your voting rights are restored with your first payment. If a monthly payment fails, Stripe will retry and email you. The treasurer will contact you if a payment is still outstanding after two months, and voting rights are suspended after a third failed payment until your dues are current.

More than one lot?

Dues are per lot. Make a separate payment for each lot, and enter that lot’s address each time.

Prefer to pay by check?

Make it out to GCNA and mail it to PO Box 315, Valdez, NM 87580. Include your lot address.

Are dues tax-deductible?

No. Dues pay for road maintenance and snow removal that benefit your property, so they aren’t a charitable gift. Separate donations to GCNA are tax-deductible (see below).

Want to give a little more?

GCNA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so donations on top of your dues are tax-deductible, and you’ll receive a separate receipt for your records. Donations go toward gravel, drainage and a reserve for flood repairs.
